Review: Pilgrim (Contemporânea #34)

Avis d'utilisateur  - Julio Barron - Goodreads

If you want to read superb historical fiction, read this book. The writing is simple, yet at the same time flows naturally throughout. This was the first Canadian author I read and I became a fan. Attention: don't read it if you only like fast-paced books. This is a book to savour it. Consulter l'avis complet

It was ok. Some interesting parts, some confusing. Premise was good. Wanted to finish it though so I could read something else. Consulter l'avis complet

I did enjoy this book a lot especially the pilgrim and sybil characters and scenes in the hospital, other parts were less compelling so I couldn't give it four stars. Jung and his married life and stream of consciousness took away from the core story as opposed to augmented. Consulter l'avis complet

Pilgrim was a great book, and is one of my favorites. Set in 1912 Germany, it's about a man simply named Pilgrim, who can never die, and has tried several times to kill himself, each time he has ... Consulter l'avis complet
