L'Œuvre de secours aux enfants (O.S.E.) sous l'Occupation en France: du légalisme à la Résistance, 1940-1944

Couverture
L'Harmattan, 1990 - 221 pages
A study of the activities of the organization which arranged for the protection and hiding of thousands of Jewish children in occupied France during World War II. Active in France since 1933, OSE was incorporated into the UGIF following the German occupation. It developed both legal and clandestine activities for the protection of Jewish children. In the internment camps in France, even during the waves of arrests by the French police and in spite of the deportations, the OSE functioned until its official dissolution in 1944.
