Partners for Livable Communities is a not-for-profit group representing more than 1,000 organizations involved in community development. Its members include environmental organizations, preservationists, developers, corporations, advocacy groups, governmental bodies, and private foundations. In recent years, Partners for Livable Communities has worked with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the International City/County Management Association, numerous local governments, the National Association of Manufacturers, the William Penn Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, Citibank, Bank of America, and Fannie Mae, among other groups. Since 1977, it has helped direct solving projects in over 300 communities. Partners for Livable Communities is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
