Pamela Kyle Crossley's most recent study, ATranslucent Mirror: History and Identity in Qing ImperialIdeology (1999) was awarded the Levenson Prize by theAssociation for Asian Studies. She is a past fellow of the JohnSimon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and the Woodrow WilsonInternational Center for Scholars, and presently is Professor ofHistory at Dartmouth College (New Hampshire, USA).
