Illustrated Library Edition

OF THE

BIBLIOTHECA
CHEMICO-MATHEMATICA

M

ESSRS. HENRY SOTHERAN & CO. beg to announce that, having

concluded their . Bibliotheca Chemico-Mathematica,' they will shortly alter ihe victory of the Allies issue a limited number of Illustrated Copies on Fine Paper of the complete Work.

This Library Edition will contain about 125 full-page Plates, comprising over 250 facsimiles of portraits, interesting illustrations, titlepages and important textual passages from rare or historically important works, and a very copious analytical Subject-Index.

The subscription price of the Illustrated Edition, bound in cloth and containing nearly 1,000 pages of Text, is 15s. nett, which will be raised to £1. 5s, nett on publication.

Considering its completeness as an Historical Catalogue of Science (no other priced catalogue of like dimensions having ever been published on the subject in any country), and the great value of the Index for scientific and bibliographical reference, it should form a useful contribution towards the historical bibliography of the Exact Sciences, and to the history of Science itself.

“ All students of the History of Mathematics should possess themselves of the remarkable Catalogues issued by Messrs. Sotheran under the title of Bibliotheca Chemico-Mathematica. They are of great intrinsic interest, and I believe them to be deserving of almost implicit confidence. They are worthy of a firm which has been in existence for over a century.”Mr. W.J. Greenstreet, in The Maihematical Gazette" for May, 1917.
