The Moral Law is of Ufe to all Men, to inform them of the holy Nature and Will of God", and of their Duty, binding them to walk accor dingly ; to convince them of their Disability to keep it, and of the finful Pollution of their Nature, Hearts and Lives; to humble them in Senfe of their Sin and Mifery, and thereby help them to a clearer Sight of the Need they have of Chrift, and of the Perfection of his Obedience .

neither juftified nor condemned h: Yet befide the general Ufes thereof common to them with all Men, it is of fpecial Ufe, to fhew them how much they are bound to Chrift for his fulfilling it, and endu ring the Curfe thereof in their Stead and for their Good; and thereby to provoke them to more Thankfulness, and to exprefs the fame in their greater Care to conform themselves thereunto as the Rule of their Obedience.

Anfw. The Moral Law is fummarily comprehenled in the Ten Commandments, which were deliered by the Voice of God upon Mount Sinai, and ritten by him in Two Tables of Stone "; and are corded in the Twentieth Chapter of Exodus. The our First Commandments containing our Duty to God, and the other Six our Duty to Man ".

99. Queft. What Rules are to be obferved for the ght understanding of the Ten Commandments?
