MACMILLAN & CO.'S

CO.'S PUBLICATIONS.

NOW READY.
NEW WORK BY SIR SAMUEL W. BAKER.

THE NILE TRIBUTARIES OF ABYSSINIA

AND THE
SWORD HUNTERS OF THE HAMRAN ARABS.

With Maps and numerous Illustrations. 8vo, cloth, 21s. “It solves finally a geographical riddle which hitherto had been extremely perplexing, and it adds much to information respecting Egyptian Abyssinia, and the different races that spread over it. It contains, moreover, SIDE notable instances of English daring and enterprising skill ; it abounds in animated tales of exploits dear to the heart the British sportsman; and it will attract even the least studious reader, as the author tells a story well, and can describe nature with uncommon power."-- Times.
