Hague), will sell at Haarlem, on the 9th to 14th December, 1867, the celebrated and highly distinguished library collected during the 18th Century, by Dír. John ENSCHEDÉ, Printer, at Haarlem The library consists of fine illuminated MANUSCRIPTS on Vellum (viz., many Livres D’Heures, with Miniatures, Fersozae, Annales Philippi II. in Angliam 1551 to 1554), important MS. on paper (viz. autograph of Newton Geographia, inedited, Liturgy in Coptic; Batak MS., Petit, Voyage du Duc de Bourgogne, &c.) BLOCKBOOK (Speculum hum. Salvat, in Dutch). Specimens of the earliest Typography (ABECEDARIUM, the only known copy ; Laur, Valla, facetie, Ludov de Roma, Singularia Juris, Donatus, &c.) 114 books printed in Holland und 134 printed abroad before 1500; and 56 in Holland and 70 abroad between 1501 and 1520, all including the rarest Dutch and other books, many unique copies. Among these are Cessolis, Scaecspiel, in Dutch 1479; R. le Fevre Histories of Troy, 1503, by Wynken de Worde, 3 edit. of Theuerdanck, 7 of Breydenbach, 3 of Polyphile, Livres d'Heures, on vellam and paper; many rare and curious Bibles, &c. Also a large number of rare and fine books of prints, old Voyages, fine Albums, &c.
