INTERROGATIVELY AND NEGATIVELY.

In order to conjugate a verb both interrogatively and negatively, ne (or n' before a vowel or h mute) must be placed before the verb conjugated interrogatively, and pas or point, &c. after it.

PLURAL.

The verb to be is rendered by avoir, when placed before the fola lowing adjectives, which, in French, become so many substantives, having their import or ineaning; those expressions, which frequently occur, being thus rendered idiomatical, with respect to the English language; commit them, therefore, to meinory.
