2 Examine me O Lord and I prove me: try out my reins and my heart.

PSALM XXVII.-Dominus illuminatio.

HE Lord is my light and my salvation *whóm then I shall I fear: the Lord is the strength of my life of whóm then I shall I be a- I fraid?

F. 2 When the wicked even mine enemies and my foescame upon me to éat I up my flesh : they stumbled and I fell.

3 Though an host of men were laid against me yet shall not my heart I be a- I -fraid and though there rose up war against me * yét will I put my trust in him.

4 One thing have I desired of the Lord which I I will re- I -quire: even that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life behold the fair beauty of the Lord I and to visit his temple.

PSALM XXX.-Exaltabo te, Domine.

WILL magnify thee O Lord for thou hast I set me up and not made my fóes to I triumph over | me.

2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee: and I thou hast I healed I me.

3 Thou, Lord, hast brought my soul I out of I hell: thou hast kept my life from thêm that gol down to the I pit.
