II. God hath all Life, * Glory, Goodness, Bleffidness in, and ot himself, and is alone in, and unto himself, All fufficient, nor ftanding in need of any Creatures which he hath made, nor deriving any glory from them,! but only manifefting his own glory, in, by,unto & upon them. He is the alone Fountain of all Being, of whom, through whom, and to whom are all things ; & And hath moft Soveraign dominion over them, to do by them, for them, or upon them,whatsoever himself pleafeth : In his fight all things are open and manifeft, ' his knowledge is lofinite, Infallible and Independent upon the Creature, * so as nathing is to him contingent or uncertain."
He is most Holy in all his Counsels, in all his Works, and in all his Commands. * To him is due from Angels and Men, and every other Creature, whatever Worship, Service or Obedience, as Creatures, they owe unto the Creator, and whatsoever he is further pleased to require of them. Of God's Eternal Decree.

IV. These Angels and Men thus predeftinated, and fore-ordained, are particularly and unchangeably designed, and their number is so certain and definite, that it cannot be either increased or diminished. b 2 Tim. 2. 19. Jobs
V. Those of mankind that are predestinated unto Life, God, before the foundation of the World was laid, according to his Eternal and immutable purpose, and the secret counsel and good pleasure of his Will, hath chosen in Chrift unto everlasting Glory, i out of his meer free Grace and Love, without any foresight of Faith or good Works, or perseverance in either of them, or any other thing in the Creature, as Conditions or Causes rooving him thereunto, and all to the praise of his glorious Grace, i i Eph.
