This publication, of which Part I. is now ready for delivery, is intended to comprise all the new and unfigured species of North American Birds. It will be issued in Parts, each containing five plates, colored by hand, representing the species of the natural size, surrounded by appropriate scenery. Only two hundred copies will be prepared, and the drawings will be erased from the stones. To those possessing Audubon's work on our native birds, this will be indispensable, as none of the species it will contain are to be found among those given by that author. The first part may be seen at the residence of the author, No. 27 WEST THIRTY-THIRD STREET, New York, where subscriptions are received.
