Rates and Taxes on lands and buildings used for Sunday Schools, thereof: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows: 1 No land or buildings used exclusively for all or any of the following Land or buildings purposes: viz.-As a Sunday School, Mission Room, or Church, or used exclusively exclusively for any purpose in connection with, or in furtherance or in for certain aid of, the work of such Sunday School, Mission Room, or Church, religious purposes shall be liable to the payment of any local Rate or Tax whatsoever, Rates. except any Rate or Tax levied for sanitary service or purpose; and not liable to pay |
