"THE CATECHISM AND HOLY SCRIPTURE" appears to me to be a very valuable exposition of the Catechism, by proof and interpretation from Holy Scripture. It lays a solid foundation for the doctrines of faith in a way most useful, not only to the taught, but to the teacher. I hope it may be largely used in our schools of every grade.

It will also be most useful for the instruction of those who are seeking to know the Catholic Faith, being even more full and detailed than Bossuet's Exposition; and as such I warmly commend it.
