I. By the Law, in a strict sense, are meant the Ten Com-
mandments of the Decalogue
II. By the Law, in a more extensive sense, are meant all
things that are written in the five books of Moses.......
III. By the Law, in the most extensive sense, are meant
all things that are contained in the Word
THE LORD CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SUBJUGATE THE HELLS AND TO
GLORIFY HIS HUMAN; AND THE PASSION OF THE CROSS WAS THE
LAST COMBAT, BY WHICH HE FULLY CONQUEred the Hells, AND
FULLY GLORIFIED HIS HUMAN
THE LORD, BY THE PASSION OF THE CROSS, DID NOT TAKE AWAY
