Psalm XVII.3 I LOVE Thee, O LORD, my strength the LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my Deliverer. 1 John i. 36. 2 Ps. xvi. 5. 3 After a superscription now uncertain, the title of this Psalm proceeds, "Of David, the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song, in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: and he said:" It is found also, with a few slight differences, in 2 Kings (Sam.) xxii.
