The Bishop's Address discusses

The Bishop authorized the Standing Committee to act as Ecclesiastical
Authority of the Diocese during his absence in Europe, July, August and
September. (Pages 44, 45.)

Canon I. was amended so that a member of a Parish attending no meeting for five years may be dropped after due notice; and so that no one not a Communicant may be elected Warden, unless he has already held that office. Canon III. was repealed, and slight changes were made in Canons II. and IV., to conform to Canons of the General Convention. A new Canon XI. was adopted, "Of the Organization of Missions." (Pages 50 to 53.)

The Rules of Order were amended and enlarged. (Page 38.)

The Committee on Proposed Diocesan Office and Episcopal Residence reported no progress, and were continued. (Page 48.)

The Assessment for the Bishop's Fund was increased to one per cent.; and a Committee was appointed to solicit additions to the endowment. (Pages 42, 43, 58.)

The Missionary Society having been freed from debt, Mr. Mansfield, Treasurer, received a vote of thanks for his services. (Page 57.)

No new Parishes were admitted; but new Missions are reported in Baltic, Hartford, Taftville and Whitneyville; (Pages 197, 227, 259, 223) and a new Summer Home and Chapel in Milford. (Page 311.)

Besides the usual mention of deceased Clergymen and laymen in the Bishop's Address and the Necrology, there are special tributes to the Rev. Doctor Pynchon, (page 161) the Rev. John Townsend, (page 60) and Colonel Jacob L. Greene. (Page 76.)

The Glebe House in Woodbury (where Bishop Seabury was elected) being out of repair, a Committee was appointed to attend to it. (Page 44.)

A Committee was appointed to secure contributions for the Missionary Thank-Offering to be made by the men of the Church at the General Convention in Richmond, October, 1907. (Pages 62, 44.)

It was decided not to merge the Diocesan Funds for Infirm and Retired Clergymen with the "General Clergy Relief." (Page 50.)

A Confmitice of laymen skilled in law and finance was appointed to consider the subject of additional Security for Trust Funds. (Pages 48, 49.) The Sunday Seo Auxiliary was authorized to reorganize so as to include the functions of a Sunday School Commission. (Pages 73, 53.) The Hev D H has prepared lists of Meetings of the Clergy of Connecticut, 1739 Meetings of Convocation, 1785 to 1848; Diocesan Conventions, with date, place and preacher, 1792 to 1905; Members of the Standing Committee, 1796 to 1905; Secretaries, Treasurers and Registrars of the Diocese, from the first; and Parishes the Names of which have been changed. (Pages III to 119.)
