Not so the ungodly, with them it is not so:

They are like the chaff which is scattered by wind.

And therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment:

Neither the sinners in the congregation of the righteous:

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous:

But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1.

Thy mercy, O LORD, reacheth unto the heavens:
And Thy faithfulness unto the clouds :

Thy righteousness standeth like the strong mountains:
Thy judgments are like the great deep.

Thou, LORD, savest both man and beast:
How excellent is Thy mercy, O God:

Therefore the children of men shall put their trust under the shadow of Thy wings.

They shall be satisfied with the plenteousness of Thy house:

Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy

pleasures:

For with Thee is the well of life :

And in Thy light shall we see light.

O continue Thy loving-kindness to them that know

Thee:

And Thy righteousness to them that are true of heart.

Psalm 36.

Praise waiteth for Thee, O GOD, in Sion:

To Thee shall the vow be performed in Jerusalem: Thou that hearest the prayer:

To Thee shall all flesh come:

To Thee the hope of all the ends of the earth:
And of them that remain in the broad sea.

Who in His strength setteth fast the mountains:
And is girded about with power:

Who stilleth the raging of the sea:

And the noise of his waves, and the madness of the

people:

They that dwell afar off are afraid at Thy tokens : Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to praise Thee.

Thou visitest the earth and blessest it:
Thou makest it very plenteous:

Thou makest it soft with the drops of rain:
And blessest the increase of it:

Thou crownest the year with Thy goodness:
And Thy clouds drop fatness.

They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness:
And the little hills rejoice on every side :

The pastures are full of sheep:

The valleys stand so thick with corn that they laugh and sing.

Psalm 65.

Preserve me, O God:

Evening.

For in Thee have I put my trust.

The lot is fallen unto me in a fair ground:
Yea, I have a goodly heritage.

I will thank the LORD for giving me warning:
My reins also chasten me in the night-season.

I have set GOD always before me:

For He is on my right hand, therefore I shall not fall.

Wherefore my heart was glad, and my glory rejoiced: My flesh also shall rest in hope.

For why? Thou shalt not leave my soul in hell:
Neither suffer Thy Holy One to see corruption.

Thou shalt show me the path of life:

In Thy presence is the fulness of joy :

And at Thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 16.

The LORD is my Shepherd:
Therefore can I lack nothing.

He shall feed me in a green pasture:

And lead me forth beside the waters of comfort.

He shall restore my soul:

And bring me forth in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil :

For Thou art with me:

Thy rod and Thy staff comfort me.

Thou preparest a table for me in presence of mine enemies :

Thou anointest my head with oil:

My cup runneth over.

Surely Thy goodness and mercy shall follow me all

the days of my

life:

And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Psalm 23.

I will magnify Thee, O GOD my King:
And I will praise Thy Name for ever and ever.

B

Great is the LORD and marvellous:
There is no end of His greatness.

One generation shall praise Thy works unto another:
And declare Thy power.

The LORD is loving unto every man :

And His tender mercies are over all His works.

The LORD upholdeth all such as fall:
And lifteth up all those that are down.

The eyes of all wait upon Thee, O LORD:

And Thou givest them their meat in due season.

The LORD is righteous in all His ways:

And holy in all His works.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him: Yea all such as call upon Him faithfully.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: And let all flesh give thanks to His holy Name for ever and ever.

MONDAY.

Psalm 145.

Morning.

LORD, who shall dwell in Thy tabernacle :

Who shall rest upon Thy holy hill?
