SEPT. 1, 1866.

63 BLEECKER STREET, New York CITY, Sept. 1, 1866.

Announcement to the Trade.

We respectfully inform the Trade that we have opened a branch establishment in NEW YORK CITY with especial reference to the sale of

Illustrated and Holiday Works,

AND

BOOKS IN FINE BINDINGS,

Of our own publication.

We have hitherto been unable to do justice to this department of our business, and have found ourselves each year in the constant receipt of orders for our standard books in extra binding which we could not execute. We have this year made arrangements with Mr. WILLIAM MATTHEWS and other binders, by which we shall be enabled to supply the market for all our popular and standard works in extra bindings at much more liberal rates of discount than heretofore offered. We have now ready a Catalogue of Books in Fine Bindings, with prices annexed, which will be forwarded to any address upon application.

An especial object of this establishment being to supply the demand, and afford additional facilities for the sale of our publications in extra bindings, and those particularly suited for the holidays, this speciality will be strictly adhered to. Orders for cloth books and periodicals will be executed from Boston as at present.

The Trade are respectfully invited to call at No. 63 Bleecker Street, six doors from Broadway, and examine our stock and prices. We hope during the present autumn, by the exhibition of a variety of styles, to suit the tastes of all purchasers.
